Soooo nice to point, direct and preview calmly while
kicking it on the sand. Even had time for a coffee break!

A super fun and long swim shoot session Saturday trying to capture a bit of Spring vibe down on the floor with Heather, Kayla, Dallin and the dive crew. Found this retro style bike through a bit of luck running into the well accomplished Hawaiian scene scape painter, Walfrido Garcia ( IG, @walfridog ) on a recent sunset walk. Talked him into selling me his old school bike for the shoot and true to his nature and support of the arts and all things ocean conservancy, he obliged! Huge thanks again to the amazing technical and herculean efforts of Jenn Alshemary and Steven and Kristina Apsley with Oahu Dive Guide along with the never ending modeling talent of Heather Hatcher, Kayla Chang and Dallin Webb.

Spring Series, Session 4, Ko'Olina, Oahu, May 2, 2020
Continuing with our Spring Series theme, our last session was recently finished with the help once again from Oahu Dive Guide dive tech Steven Apsley and crew, Kristina Apsley and Jenn Alshemary. Goal this time was to create a spring garden theme. Just one row of flowers, a few sand screws, a couple tanks of air and a ton of free diving and we were able to plant our garden. As always, the battle is to neutralize the model enough to stay on the floor, yet allow some movement. Definitely a challenge with some drama and comedy thrown in, but as usual Heather tackles this deceptively difficult task with ease.
